Brennon Robert Allen and Kyanna D. Haynes have been named Students of the Month for March, according to Ely Elks Lodge #1469.
Allen, age 18, is the son of Tim and Felisha Allen of Ely. Haynes, age 18, is the daughter of Leanette Haynes of Ely. Both are Seniors at White Pine High School and will graduate with the Class of 2024.

The Student of the Month program is sponsored by the Elks Lodge in an effort to bring recognition to outstanding students in the area.
Multiple achievement, citizenship, scholarship and leadership are the basis for selection of Students of the Month.
Allen has been active in football, basketball, wrestling and baseball. His hobbies are hunting, fishing and sports.
Haynes has been active as a captain in cheerleading, member of the WPHS choir in the alto section and prom committee. Her hobbies are painting, drawing, reading, crocheting, playing video games like Minecraft or Sims 4, cooking, scrapbooking, singing, dancing, writing and making of jewelry.
