Mr. and Mrs. Tom Windous of Ely celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 29, 2023. Tom and DaNelle (Atkin) Windous were married July 29, 1963 in Reno, Nevada. Their marriage has blessed them with four children: Thomas Brett (deceased), Tawnya (Scott) Henriod of Ely, Vince (Moana) Windous of Ely, and Derek (Jennifer) Windous of Spring Creek, Nevada. They have been further blessed with fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. The family celebrated with a reception featuring dinner and dancing to the couple’s favorite music throughout the ages.
