City Council discusses Solar Farm located at Georgetown Ranch
The subject on everyone’s minds these days seems to be the Georgetown Ranch and the Solar Farm Project. That came to a head the night of the City Council meeting on November 9th. Jailhouse fire leaves visitors scrambling to find places to stay
In the early hours of August 18th, while the town slept, a fire broke out in the middle of town. Patrons of the Jailhouse Motel and Casino were startled awake by fire alarms and smoke as the block of rooms behind Mr. G’s were engulfed in flames. Bomb Squad called to remove dynamite from building in Lund
On the morning of August 11th emergency services gathered in the town of Lund, Nevada. The Elko Bomb squad, White Pine County EMT’s and the White Pine County Sheriff’s Office were all in attendance.
