William Cazier and Brindel Lefaun Blades have been named Junior Students of the Month for February, according to Ely Elks Lodge #1469.
Brindel Lefaun Blades and William Cazier are named the Elks Jr. Students of the month for February 2025.
Cazier, age 15, is the son of Roy and Caroline Cazier of Ruth. Blades, age 14, is the daughter of Eric and Krystal Blades of Ely. Both are 8th graders at White Pine Middle School.
The Junior Student of the Month program is sponsored by the Elks Lodge in an effort to bring recognition to outstanding students in the area.
Multiple achievements, citizenship, scholarship and leadership are the basis for selection of Junior Students of the Month.
Cazier is active in video gaming, editing, drawing, hiking and metal detecting.
Blades has been active in robotics, choir, leadership, All-State Choir and community plays. Her hobbies are art, acting, reading, singing and riding bikes.
