Canadian Rock band makes Ely first stop on American tour

On September 12th, the band Chase the Bear played a free concert at the Bristlecone Convention Center.

They broke down on the way here and had to be rescued and brought the rest of the way. But the show must go on, and it did, over an hour late, but the wait was worth it.

The Canadian Rock band did not disappoint. They had a great line up of original songs and, after their set, came out and met with concert goers. The band engaged with the audience in between songs and sometime during them. With a very unique style the lead singer was barefoot throughout the performance. You could feel the energy on the stage throughout the room. It was one of many free concerts that have been offered to the community in the last couple months.
