Providing medic services for organized events, team sports and recreational games, as well as offering specialized services, Stand-By Medical Services performs across White Pine County to the benefit and safety of the masses. From the Horse Races to the Fourth of July, to Schellraiser, Stand By interfaces with County and City EMS to administer basic to advance care. Depending on the situation, these trained professionals are your first line of care and the White Pine Chamber of Commerce is proud to help them in their pursuits of enhancing the quality of life here in Ely and White Pine County.
When the folks of Stand By Medical Services are not offering EMT courses or providing first aid at events, they can be found developing outreach through community service projects like building Haunted Houses, supporting Labor Day events, raising funds for worthy causes, and often offering to help boost the efforts of other organizations. This August 31st, they will bring live entertainment to Ely’s Bristlecone Convention Center, as The Garth Guy hits the stage with McGill native Denny Misler.
The Ultimate Garth Brooks Tribute Band will perform from 7-9pm to raise funds for Stand by Medical Services to acquire a Mobile Medic First Aid Station. VIP Tickets and Dinner Tickets are SOLD OUT- but – General Admission passes are still available for $30 each. Tickets can be purchased at Taproot, BCC, or the Chamber of Commerce. Any remaining tickets can be purchased for $35 at the door the night of, but tickets are selling quickly. Purchase before August 23rd for preferred seating. Doors open at 6:15pm. A bar will be open and bites are available during the show.
