Your White Pine Chamber of Commerce is growing and adding to the office team, in order to better serve each member small business, organization, and individual. The Downtown Ely Visitor Center will now be managed by the White Pine Chamber of Commerce, and we have also added a Membership Services Coordinator, Tiana Kelsey, to assist in ensuring our members are receiving all the support services currently available.
A White Pine High School graduate, Tiana joins the Chamber team with previous local retail and customer service experiences. She understands the importance of the Chamber of Commerce and is excited to get to know each member to see how our work can best serve them. Tiana is reaching out to each member individually to coordinate information, take feedback, and assist in building a better network of information sharing among our members.
The Visitor Center, previously run through Tourism and Recreation is now managed by the Chamber of Commerce and will continue the work being done out of our downtown office. Members have the added bonus of getting their choice materials, like brochures, pamphlets, business cards, and marketing materials, out to thousands of out-of-area visitors that come in looking for helpful information.
The White Pine Chamber of Commerce has been partnering and supporting small businesses in White Pine County for 104 years and our services will continue to grow while keeping membership costs some of the lowest in the state. This year will be one for the record books as we are focused on continuing to expand benefits to members. We look forward to continuing to serve our community and build a better Chamber and strengthen the business development support structures that have helped make White Pine County one of the best places to live and do business in the state.
