Chamber Members are benefiting from a stronger organization with more benefits on the way. The White Pine Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to have the pleasure of serving the business community in our city, towns, county, and now… the Eastern Nevada Region! Our Small Business Resource Expo, held here November 3rd and 4th was a phenomenal boost to many local area entrepreneurs and small business owners, as well as job seekers. Having gathered 27 organizations together under one roof, local, state, and federal agencies distributed their expertise, sage advice, and financial assistance to help strengthen our economy.
Our organization’s single goal is to support businesses here in White Pine County. Providing resources is one way we are doing that. Becoming an employer is another. We are expanding and adding a position that will assist in facilitating better support for member businesses. Another benefit in the final stages of development is a brand new website that will improve usability and enhanced search engine optimization to increase the searchability of our members listed on our website’s directory. The new website represents a $10,000 investment in all of our member’s digital marketing and overall sustainability.
Improving the office and the digital sphere are logistical elements that add value to being a chamber member. The White Pine Chamber of Commerce is also expanding its membership base to outside the county borders. Our Small Business Expo added the Eureka Business Network into our ranks, which will expand our ability to interact with, advertise, market, and promote member businesses more closely with our closest neighbor community. For the first time, the White Pine Chamber is operating as a regionally focused economic entity that will represent and advocate on behalf of all of Eastern Nevada. Our establishment within the Silver State Chambers of Commerce also brings the White Pine Chamber into a stronger position to lobby state legislators in addressing the unique concerns and needs of our rural communities.
