October 13th, at 8:00pm, join in on the Community Eclipse BONFIRE FUN as food trucks like Smash and Grab Burgers and The Corndog Company, along with vendors like Perigo Corner Market, and Lets Print & More, while KDSS 92.7Fm plays all your favorite songs in the warm glow of a roaring fire. October 14th, 5:00-8:00, Chunk your punkin’ and stay for the Great American Eclipse Pub Crawl, with special commemorative cups and a whole downtown full of participating businesses. Offering special tastings of spirits that lead you to The Space for a musical cap to a terrific day of Eclipse related events and festivities, we’ve got your eclipse festivities covered.
October 27th, Trick or Treat the Street, in Downtown Ely AND at the Bristlecone Convention Center. Food Trucks will be out, businesses will be lined up, so ghosts and goblins will have plenty to keep them busy.
November 1st, Our monthly newsletter will go out to announce THE BEST OF WHITE PINE CONTEST. Recipients will be the first to get voting under way for two months of collecting nominations for the top contender in a laundry list of categories, to be celebrated and awarded in the new year at our Best of White Pine Awards Dinner. From Best Burger, to Best Customer Service, Best Employer, to Best place to park your posterior and enjoy a refreshing beverage, the best are voted by you. November 1st, The White Pine Chamber of Commerce launches our Holiday at Home Season of Shopping Small & Shopping Local, as we focus on highlighting one Chamber Member business everyday in November and December. Folks that Follow, Like, and Share these posts on our Facebook and new Instagram Page will be entered into a raffle for $250 Chamber Buck Prize!
November 3rd, WHITE PINE’S SMALL BUSINESS RESOURCE EXPO , starting at 10:00am, at the Bristlecone Convention Center, Career & hiring fairs, small business owner resources, entrepreneur information, educational seminars, customer service employee trainings, special speaker presentations, and a Chamber Mixer will cap off this busy and informative day.
November 4th, WHITE PINE’S SMALL BUSINESS RESOURCE EXPO & WHITE PINE WOMEN LEADERSHIP SUMMIT and WHITE PINE WOMEN LEADERSHIP AWARDS DINNER. Celebrating rural women in leadership across multiple industries, our Small Business Resource Expo will feature keynote speakers, educational seminars, job/hiring fairs, entrepreneur and employee assistance, and a special Rural Women Leadership Awards Banquet. December 2nd, The annual Holiday at Home Christmas Parade and Holiday Tree Lighting will take place in Downtown Ely at five o’clock. Main street businesses and organizations will be putting on their best decorations and giving the town that warm winter glow.
