The White Pine Chamber of Commerce is THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE: Our White Pine Chamber Buck Program has reached over $100,000 dollars invested in the local community, in 2023! That means Chamber member businesses that accept White Pine Chamber Bucks have been seeing the beneficial fiscal impact of this initiative, right here in the White Pine economy.
Chamber Bucks are a local gift certificate available through the White Pine Chamber of Commerce, with the singular mission of keeping local dollars local. 2023 saw one of the largest investments of this Chamber service by White Pine Chamber Members, KGHM Robinson Mine and Kinross Bald Mountain. Both companies incentivize and award their employees with locally printed Chamber Bucks, to keep local dollars local.
KGHM Robinson Mine has provided a significant stake in the Chamber Buck Program over the course of the last eleven months, contributing almost $100,000 since January. Kinross Bald Mountain also supported their local employees by funding a significant portion in the spring, in order for these monies to be kept and spent right here in White Pine County. The Chamber itself also contributed several thousand dollars to local nonprofit organizations over the year to boost raffles, increase donation drives, and support local commerce.
Chamber Bucks have an equivalent cash value, but are limited to being redeemable only at Chamber Member stores and restaurants in Baker, McGill, Lund, and Ely. A full list of retailers and eateries that accept White Pine Chamber Bucks can be found on our website, www.whitepinechamber.com, or by scanning the QR code printed directly on these gift certificates.
The White Pine Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank Kinross Bald Mountain and KGHM Robinson Mine, as well as the organizations that continuously bolster the local economy and invigorate small business throughout the year. The White Pine Chamber is honored to be able to partner with you, participate, and generate such a tremendous investment in local small businesses that are the backbone of White Pine County.
