The saying that women run the world is one that rings true here in White Pine County. During a two day White Pine Small Business Resource Expo, while entrepreneurs, business owners, venture capitalists, and job seekers take advantage of the first resource fair of its kind in Eastern Nevada in over a decade, women will also be able to attend a special discussion panel to hear from and speak to women leaders from the local, state, and national levels of both business and government. Following this special program at the Rural Women Leadership Summit on November 4th, the White Pine Chamber of Commerce will honor local women at the inaugural White Pine Women Leadership Awards Banquet. Mothers, sisters, daughters, women from every walk of life, every industry, and background, are invited to attend.
Operating from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm each day, Friday November 3rd and Saturday the 4th, the White Pine Chamber of Commerce will host this hybrid event, bringing together 25 organizations and entities from all over the state. All gathering to provide insight, expertise, and advice for small businesses and entrepreneurs to gain the support necessary for starting, building, rebranding, or expanding commerce in White Pine County.
