Join David E. Norman Elementary Parent Teacher Organization in support of the White Pine County School District Robotics Team by donating as they raise money to embark on an exciting journey to the Robotics World Championship, which will be held April 25-May 3 in Dallas, Texas.
Three teams from White Pine County School District have been invited to represent Nevada at the World Championship. The teams are WPHS Team 283H: Nutty Robots, which consists of Kaleb Nielson and Masson Blades, DEN Elementary Team 7500D: Pandas of Doom, which includes Samantha Murphree, Harleigh Lucero, and Gage Mantor, and McGill Elementary Team 7499T: The Rainbow Bobs, made up of Eli West, Dallas Zehr, Sterling Nicholes, and Monte Hoots.

These teams performed very well throughout the season and at the Nevada State Championship. Team 283H brought home the State Skills Champion and State Tournament Champion awards for their age division, and Team 7500D brought home the State Skills Champion and State Create Award for their age division. Team 7499T won the Think Award at a tournament earlier in the season.
At the World Championship, these students will be meeting, collaborating, and competing against top teams from all over the United States and 41 other nations, including Andorra, Colombia, India, and Sierra Leone. They are excited to get to meet students from around the world and showcase their skills at an international level.
You can donate by taking or mailing a donation to the White Pine County School District Office. If you write a check, please make it out to White Pine County School District and put Robotics on the memo line.

From now until May 31st, donations to the WPCSD Robotics team will be matched by rPlus Hydro up to $4,000! Business sponsors will be included on the competition shirts for next year’s season.
