The incoming officers for the 2025-2026 fraternal lodge year were installed on Thursday, March 27 at the Ely Elks Lodge.
Exalted Ruler Tony Carr presents the Elk of the Year award to Earlynn Betsill and the Officer of the Year award to Mary Kerner.
Sid Beckwith PER representing the Grand Exalted Ruler opened the ceremony and presided over the installation. Those installed were: Mike Lester, Exalted Ruler; Ronald Taylor PER, Esteemed Leading Knight; Curtis Kerner, Esteemed Loyal Knight; Sandra Hibbs, Esteemed Lecturing Knight; Gayle Bartlett PER Secretary; Matt Hibbs, Treasurer; Mary Kerner, Three Year Trustee; Jennifer Lester, Chaplain; Charles Lerch, Inner Guard; Earlynn Betsill, Tiler and Ken Curto PSP, Esquire.
Outgoing Exalted Ruler Tony Carr presented the Elk of the Year award to Earlynn Betsill and the Officer of the Year award to Mary Kerner for their service this fraternal year. Outgoing Exalted Ruler Carr also received an engraved gavel from Exalted Ruler Lester.
Past Exalted Rulers and installing officers were Sid Beckwith PER, Tony Carr PER, PDDGER, Bill Wiseman PER, PDDGER, PSP, DL, Ben Reed PER, PDDGER, NSEA President-Elect, Bill Oskin PER, DDGER Nevada South, Andre Paez PER, Chris Weiland PER, DDGER Esquire. Both Carr and Lester gave brief remarks after which the installation was concluded.
