This year the White Pine Rodeo Team had five kids qualify for Nationals. Two for the Junior High National Finals (NJHFR) and three for the High School National Finals (NHSFR). Sawyer Bliss and Kiala Reynolds left last week and began their long trip to Des Moines, Iowa for the Junior High Nationals. Bliss is competing in Ribbon Roping and Team Roping. Reynolds is competing in Barrel Racing.
Qualifying for the NJHFR isn’t easy. Only around 1,200 contestants from 43 states, five Canadian provinces, Mexico and Australia get the chance. You can watch the kids compete on the Cowboy+ app live this week, ending June 29th.
Travis Rimington, Brooklynn Sena, Hannah Benjamin, Sawyer Bliss and Kiala Reynolds will be competing in the Jr/High National Finals Rodeo.
Travis Rimington, Brooklynn Sena and Hannah Benjamin will be representing White Pine at the High School National Finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Rimington qualified in Bull Riding, while Sena qualified in Barrel Racing. Benjamin will be competing in Trap and Light Rifle.
Around 1,500 contestants from 47 state/province associations will be competing this year at the NHSFR. You can watch them compete on the Cowboy+ app July 14th through the 20th. Congratulations to White Pine’s National Finals Qualifiers!
