ELY, NV – Mt. Wheeler Power is once again seeking the community’s support for our annual Santa’s Elves Christmas Assistance Program. Over 100 ornaments now decorate the holiday tree in our Ely office lobby, each representing the holiday wishes of a local child in need. The Santa’s Elves program helps brighten the season by providing toys, clothing, and essential items for families facing financial challenges.

For over 30 years, this program has brought joy and relief to families who may struggle to afford extra holiday expenses. Although the program has evolved, its mission remains the same: supporting our neighbors during the holiday season.
Community members can help by visiting Mt. Wheeler Power’s Ely office at 1600 Great Basin Blvd., Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and choosing an ornament to fulfill a child’s wish. Additionally, monetary donations are welcomed through the end of the year and will be used to cover remaining needs.
As a community-driven program, Santa’s Elves relies entirely on local donations and the kindness of those willing to give. Every gift and contribution help bring holiday cheer to those who need it most.
