Kason Giles and Katherine Grace Eldridge have been named Students of the Month for September, according to Ely Elks Lodge #1469.
Giles, age 13, is the son of Scott and Hillary Giles of Ely. Eldridge, age 14, is the daughter of Bruce Eldridge and Amanda Hilton of Ely. Both are 8th graders at Learning Bridge Charter School.
Kason Giles and Katherine Grace Eldridge are named the Elks Jr. Students of the month for September 2024.
The Student of the Month program is sponsored by the Elks Lodge in an effort to bring recognition to outstanding students in the area.
Multiple achievement, citizenship, scholarship and leadership are the basis for selection of Students of the Month.
Giles is the captain of the Middle School football team this year and has played football for three years. He has played five years of Little League Baseball and was on All-Stars team for three years. He is also active in school leadership. His hobbies are playing football and baseball, bike riding, traveling and hanging out with friends.
Eldridge has been active in volleyball, basketball and leadership. Her hobbies are reading, writing and traveling.
