Joining Forces Click It or Ticket Campaign (November 10 – 30, 2023)

The Nevada State Police – Highway Patrol Division will be joining forces with other law enforcement agencies in Nevada for a Joining Forces Seatbelt Enforcement Campaign “Click It or Ticket”. The campaign will take place from November 10 – 30, 2023.

This Click It or Ticket Campaign aims to increase law enforcement participation by coordinating highly visible patrols across the State of Nevada looking for seatbelt violations and educating the motoring public about seat belts and their significance during a vehicle crash.

As of September 2023, there have been 287 fatalities on Nevada roadways, with 50 being unrestrained motorists. www.ZeroFatalitiesNV.com.

Law Enforcement agencies will be taking a no excuse approach to seat belt enforcement and will be issuing citations throughout the campaign.

The Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol remains dedicated to bringing the number of fatalities on Nevada’s roadways to zero through increasing public awareness about the dangers of speeding, driving unrestrained, impaired driving, reckless driving and more.
