
Joshua Leonard Youngblood, a veteran of the United States Army, passed away on July 24, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The son of Teresa Goulter, Josh was born on January 25, 1986, in Elko, Nevada. He later moved to Ely, NV, where he spent his childhood before graduating from White Pine High School in 2004. After high school, Josh attended the College of Southern Idaho for one year before his enlistment into the United States Army.
Joshua valued the service he provided to his country and earned the rank of Specialist. While serving, Josh was deployed to Kuwait. He received numerous medals and ribbons, including the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. After he was medically discharged from the Army in 2008, Josh settled in Tacoma, WA, where he started a family and attempted to live life after the war.
Joshua is preceded in death by his Uncle, Randy Goulter. He is survived by his children, Landon and Chloe Youngblood; his mother, Teresa Goulter; his sisters, Trina Timko, Jodi Youngblood, and Trisha Goulter; his uncle, Brian Goulter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services on September 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ely, Nevada. Immediately following, a graveside service with military honors will be held at the Ely City Cemetery.
