Kenneth Dee Rimington was born November 10, 1945 to Robert “Toby” Wallace Rimington and Annie Rae Rimington in Price, Utah. He passed away September 26, 2023 peacefully with family by his side.
Ken was raised in Ely and graduated from White Pine High School in 1963. He joined the Army in October 1965 and served in the Vietnam War. He was a SP5.
Ken had two children, Audrey Orrillo and Shaun Rimington. He had five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Ken loved stock cars, painting cars, hunting, fishing, Nascar, playing the guitar and was a great artist.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert “Bob” Rimington.
He is survived by his two children, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sisters Jo Ann (Michael) Farnsworth, Linda (Norm) Merrill and Sherry (Tom) Oxborrow, brother John Rimington and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held June 23, 2024 at the Veterans section on the upper level at the Ely City Cemetery at 11:00am, to honor his life and service to his country.
