Hayden Minnier and Reese Ali Maestes have been named Students of the Month for March, according to Ely Elks Lodge #1469.
Reese Ali Maestes and Hayden Minnier are named the Elks Junior Students of the month for March 2025.
Minnier, age 14, is the son of Christopher and Caitlin Minnier of Ely. Maestes, age 15, is the daughter of Raymond and Michele Maestes of Ely. Both are 8th graders at Learning Bridge Charter School.
The Student of the Month program is sponsored by the Elks Lodge in an effort to bring recognition to outstanding students in the area.
Multiple achievement, citizenship, scholarship and leadership are the basis for selection of Students of the Month.
Minnier has been active in leadership and soccer. He has several hobbies which are school related.
Maestes has been active in basketball, leadership, softball, soccer and volunteering in the community wherever needed. Her hobbies are sports, taking care of the family animals, family and friends, and bringing joy and laughter to all she encounters.
