Marylue Griffin

Marylue Griffin passed away on Nov 4th 2023.

Marylue was born to Marjorie and Alvin Stark in the summer of 1943. She was one of 10 children born to them. Marylue worked at the Hotel Nevada as a card dealer, cocktail waitress and Hostess. She also worked for the Division of Forestry from 1982 to 1992 where she worked in various positions. She stocked the warehouse, seed counts, Firefighter, and animal counts.

Marylue is preceded in death by three sisters Jean Lopez, Joan Coca and Alice Sandaval. One Brother, Daryl Stark, Her Son Alfred (JR.) Griffin and Granddaughter Miranda Melville. She is survived in death by one brother Jacke Stark and five sisters, Sally Marques, Dee Bishop, Elva Vergara, Nellie Griffith, and Cora Surby. Also by her children, Daughter Helen Melville and her children Skyler and Seth Melville and 4 grandchildren, Daughter Virgina Grossman and her children Travis Grossman, Chad Grossman, Brandon Grossman, Janell Grossman and 10 grandchildren. Daughter Rose Wright and her son Frankie Gonzales. Son Ralph Gonzales and his Children Raquel MacGraph and David Gonzales and eight grandchildren. Son LeRoy Griffin and his children Kody Griffin, Marcus Griffin, Aroura Griffin and stepchildren Xianna Thomson and Lenora Thompson, Daughter Jean Griffin and her children Keisha McKendrick, Jay McKendrick, Emily McShane and eight grandchildren.

Services will be announced soon. The family is asking for those who wish to attend to write letters to Marylue. Letters may be read out loud or kept silent if the writer may wish. Family asks that you also bring your fondest memories for our mother, sister, and friend.
