Mark your calendars for a day of fun in McGill, Nevada sponsored by the McGill Revitalization Association, McGill Town Council and the McGill Volunteer Fire Department.
On Friday, December 8, 2023 will be the annual Christmas Tree lighting between the Library and Fire Station on Main Street at 6:30pm. Hay rides and hot chocolate will also be available.
On Saturday, December 9, 2023 will be the McGill Volunteer Fire Department Food Drive at 8:00am. Then get over to 2nd Street before 11:00am to watch the “Old Time Christmas” parade.
If you are interested in being in the parade, line up at the McGill Elementary School at 10:30am.
Following the parade, Santa will be at the Library along with a bake sale and craft bazaar at the Senior Center.
Don’t forget to decorate your house and while you’re at it, pick a pole on Main Street and decorate that, too. Make sure your pole has your name and number on it. Prizes will be awarded to the top three decorated houses.
