Mt. Wheeler Power Board of Director Nomination Period is open

We wanted to bring to your attention Mt. Wheeler Power Board of Director nomination period is open. You are eligible to run if you meet the following criteria:

1. Your primary residence must be within an open district, currently 4, 6 or 8
2. Have not been convicted of a felony during the past 5 years.
3. Must be a member in good standing.
4. Have complied with all items covered in Section 3.03 of the Cooperative Bylaws.
   Cooperative bylaws, Nomination petitions and district maps are available at Mt. Wheeler Power’s Ely office or on the website at www.mwpower.net
   Qualifying petitions must have 15 signatures of members who reside in the district for which the candidate is running. One member number per signature, primary member, or spouse but not both.
5. 
   The deadline for completed petitions is February 8, 2024, by 4:00 p.m. Allow time for staff to qualify your petition. A photo and biography must be included with your completed petition which will be used in both print and social media advertising.
