Ned Taylor Oxborrow was born November 25, 1935, to Irma and Rodney Oxborrow in Ely, Nevada as the fifth child of eight children. He married a wonderful woman, Rowena Faye Henriod on November 28, 1953, and together had 5 children, Nedra (Hoogland), Tom Oxborrow, Cinda (Hardy), Linda (Smith), and Sara (Henderson). He lived in Ely, Nevada until 1962 and then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a wonderful husband and father, a hard worker, and a good provider, and above all, loved his family. He worked in various jobs such as mechanic, framer, heavy equipment operator, minor, and surveyor at the Nevada Test Site to name a few. He is survived by a large family, 5 children, 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by a brother Ken Oxborrow and a sister, Judy (Tuckett). He was always willing to help someone in need and had many life-long friends. His influence will be felt for many generations.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 16th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Manse Rd., in Parump, NV. at 2 pm.
