Talviano Francis Sifre and Rebekah Catherine Bishop have been named Students of the Month for October, according to Ely Elks Lodge #1469.
Sifre, age 13, is the son of Amery and Anthony Sifre of Ely. Bishop, age 14, is the daughter of Erin and Stephen Bishop of Ely. Both are 8th graders at Learning Bridge Charter School.
Talviano Sifre and Rebekah Bishop are named the Elks Jr. Students of the month for October 2023.
The Student of the Month program is sponsored by the Elks Lodge in an effort to bring recognition to outstanding students in the area.
Multiple achievement, citizenship, scholarship and leadership are the basis for selection of Students of the Month.
Sifre has been active middle school football, middle school and USA wrestling, basketball and middle school leadership. His hobbies are hunting, drawing and sports.
Bishop has been active in Ely Childrens Community Theater, WP Composite mountain bike team and leadership. Her hobbies are art, piano, guitar, Utah Shakespeare Festival and junior actor training.
