Halloween always brings so many fun memories for many families. There are so many activities going on the weekend of October 25th – 27th, then continuing again on Thursday, October 31st.
Don’t miss out on all the Halloween fun happening this next week.
Trick or treat the Street will start on Friday the 25th from noon until 4pm. There are lots of participating businesses, check out the list on page 3A. All the businesses throughout town are excited to see all the costumes that the families will bring!
Then you will want to head to the McGill Grade School for their annual Halloween Carnival starting at 5:00pm. There will be games and prizes, Bingo, cake walk, silent auction and, of course, a haunted house.
There will also be a haunted house at the White Pine County Fairgrounds in the blue building. This haunted house is brought to you by Stand By Medical. There will also be an optional The Dark Ritual Show and stuff for the kiddos. This will be Thursday, October 24th and Friday, October 25th from 6:00pm until 10:00pm.
Don’t forget to get your tickets for the Haunted Ghost Train that will be running October 25th, 26th and 31st. The train leaves the depot at 7:00pm sharp and is a frightfully good time for the entire family!
Saturday, October 26th, the White Pine Golf Course will hold its annual Scary Scramble to kick off the end of the season. Call the Golf Course to get registered at 775-289-4095.
Tune into KDSS 92.7FM on Sunday, October 27th at 6pm for “The Monkey’s Paw” Radio Drama brought to you by the Ely Children’s Community Theater.
Then the fun continues on Halloween, October 31st with a trunk or treat at the Learning Bridge Charter School from 5:30 – 6:30pm, before all the ghouls and goblins hit the streets to collect their loot.
Halloween isn’t just for kids! Starting Thursday, October 31st through Saturday, November 2nd, The Outpost will have drink specials, games, costume contest, live music and Karaoke. Check out their ad on page 3A for the schedule of events!
