Susan Ann (Summers) Sharp passed away on January 5th, 2025, at the age of 76 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born June 25, 1948, to Robert and Phyllis Summers in Sonora, California. She attended school in Sonora and then went to Cal Poly and Utah State. She obtained her master’s degree in fish biology.
In 2003, she met and married Norman Sharp. They spent 22 happy years together. She loved working on the ranch and spending time with her dogs and mules.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Phyllis Summers. She is survived by her loving husband, Norman Sharp, and her brothers, Robert “Bob” Summers, and Bill Summers, and their spouses.
A memorial service will be held on April 12th at 11:00 am at the Currant Community Center in Currant, Nevada.
I only met he once. Susan and her husband bought a trailer from me years ago. The fact that she was a Summers might have been part of it but I liked her from the time she got out of her vehicle. She struck me as a kind and honest person and I never forgot her. I was invited to visit them at there place and I regret never having made it down there. I will always remember her telling me ” It was all about the mules “
