COMINS LAKE Spring is officially here, and the lake is clear! The water is ice free and trout fishing has been productive over the last week. Anglers are reporting good luck with a variety of Powerbaits as well as nightcrawlers. COMINS LAKE With the completely unpredictable winter that we have been having, as such are the ice conditions on the lake. The majority of the north end is around 5-6 inches thick, while the middle of the lake is 10+ inches thick, all the while the south end is around 7” thick. COMINS LAKE Due to the fluctuating and unseasonably warm temperatures in the recent weeks, the ice conditions are changing quickly and often.
