The White Pine Jr/High School Rodeo was held September 8-10, 2023 at the White Pine County Fairgrounds. It was an emotionally charged weekend filled with a heartwarming tribute to their teammate, Brodey, senior recognitions, raffles, awards, games, and of course, plenty of rodeo action.
The White Pine Rodeo Club has spent countless hours fundraising and preparing for their home rodeo. They made great efforts to make this an event that would draw a crowd, which it did. There were 165 contestants and nearly 200 horses entered and competed for their chance to win cash, buckles, saddles, knives, stirrups, points, and other prizes for topping their fellow athletes.
