White Pine County Extension Office holding meeting on Radon and what you need to know

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can rise into your home from the ground. Radon causes lung cancer and childhood leukemia. All homes should be tested!

White Pine County Extension is holding an informational meeting on Radon and what White Pine County homeowners need to know about radon. You will learn: what is radon, health risks of radon gas, how often should you test and where to go for answers.

The class will be held March 11th at 5:30 pm at the White Pine County Library, 950 Campton St. Attendees receive a free radon test kit For more information contact White Pine Extension at 775-293-6599
