The annual poetry contest will take place on April 20, 2024 in the White Pine County Library conference room at 10:00am. The contest is open to all school aged children. Poems must be original work, no more than 20 lines, and can be on any subject. Content must be clean and “G” rated, artwork to support their poem is encouraged. All participants must register and submit a legible copy of their poem no later than 5:00PM on April 12, 2024 to the library.
All participants will be required to perform their poem to the judges on April 20, 2024 beginning at 10:00am. The prize age groups will be as follows: K-2nd grade, 3rd -5th grade, Middle School, and High School. Prize will be a chrome book for each winner.
