White Pine High School pre-season tournament shows potential for great season

White Pine High School volleyball teams conquered the weekend with unwavering spirit and determination. The Invitational saw the Ladycats assert their dominance, with JV players showing remarkable resilience and unity, emerging undefeated. Although Varsity narrowly missed first place, their performance was filled with promise and potential for growth.

Senior Audrey Merrill took 22 kills averaging 2.0 kills per set and a hitting percentage of 0.194. Junior Amaia Shedd had 4 total blocks with senior Kendra Derbidge following it up with 2 total blocks. Junior Presley Skadburg averaged 3.5 digs per set and 73 receptions. Junior Kasadie Britton and Senior Megan Dunn had 10 serving aces, they averaged 0.9 per set and Sophomore Brenley Skadburg had 9 with an average aces per set of 0.8. Junior Kasadie Britton also had 36 assists. This season is going to be a remarkable one for our Ladycats if they keep up this momentum.
