WPHS Band calendar tradition continues

November 4, 2023 by Bristlecone Tribune Leave a Comment

The White Pine High School Band is continuing its annual calendar tradition to raise funds for their activities.

The calendar features pictures spanning from 1946 to last year and is sold by band members until November 12th. Each calendar purchased provides the buyer with two chances to win $50. The names of winners will be drawn on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. The funds raised through calendar sales will support the band’s participation in competitions, like their attendance at the Heritage Festival in San Diego last April.

The band expresses gratitude for the generous support of donors and purchasers from the previous year. You can purchase your calendar from any White Pine High School Band member.

In addition to calendar sales, the band offered three levels of sponsorship this year:

  1. Gold Level ($50-$99)
  2. Platinum Level ($100-$499) – Sponsored by Ramada Copper Queen, D&S Repair, C & B Auto, R Place, Racks Bar & Grill, LaQuinta Inn & Suites, Flower Basket, Margarita’s Restaurant, Economy Drug, and Experience Escapes/Scentsy by Tasheena Cooke, Jailhouse Hotel & Casino.
  3. Titanium Level ($500+) – Sponsored by CORE Construction, KGHM Robinson Mine, and Warren & Julie Krch.
