ELY, NV – Bristlecone Animal Aid Rescue & Xpress (BAARX) would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to First National Bank of Ely for their generous donation of $5,000, which will go toward supporting BAARX’s ongoing programs and services for animals in need.

Katie Rozich, Operations Officer at First National Bank of Ely, expressed the bank’s commitment to supporting local causes. “We believe charity starts at home,” said Rozich. “When we consider donations, we focus on local organizations run by capable and passionate people. Animals don’t have a voice, so someone must speak and advocate for them. The reason we support BAARX is simple – they help the helpless.”

This is not the first time that the bank has supported BAARX. Rozich added, “First National Bank of Ely has for four years supported BAARX. This donation helps them to grow and expand their much-needed programs.”

BAARX President Montie Lyn Liebsack echoed her sentiments, emphasizing the importance of the bank’s continued support. “The generous donation from First National Bank of Ely has been instrumental in allowing us to expand our rescue efforts. With their help, we can continue to provide the care and advocacy animals desperately need in our community.”

With this latest donation, BAARX plans to enhance its rescue programs, provide medical care to animals in need, and ensure they find loving homes.
